I had responsibilities to build and operate a sustainable network of primary care providers, specialists, and ancillary providers. In addition:
  •  Working with Field Operations Team, serving as trouble shooters and point of contact for network practices participating in one or more of Wellvana’s value-based care agreements, in reviewing, prioritizing, and engaging with potential network of primary care providers benefitting from participating in value-based care agreements.
  • Implementing the clinical programs of Value Based Care initiatives related to DCE, Medicare Advantage, ACO and other at-risk populations with support and data resources, to identify patients with high risk and rising risk conditions.
  • Supervising the field operations team to improve quality outcomes and clinical operations in identification of opportunities and issues, making recommendations regarding value-based initiatives, and communicating with Wellvana stakeholders.
  • Educating and training the team to review marketing/promotional material, HIPAA compliance standards in all operations, coding, claims, utilization, clinical and quality data from contracts to effectively communicating the opportunities for improvement to network practices. This enables the team to support practices and indirectly to patients through complex healthcare environments for the optimization of care and outcomes, leading to patients’ follow-up through good coaching for bringing improvement in continuity of care and the intervention process.
  • Building and executing improvement plans at both the market and practice level based on areas of opportunity identified. This leads to building productive relationships with internal and external physicians, their staff, healthcare administrators, healthcare delivery system leaders, and other stakeholders within the market, tracking interventions and outcomes.
Clinical Program Manager in 2021
  I joined Prime Arizona Holdings (Accountability Care organization, ACO working with Medicare and Humana) covering the following responsibilities:
  • Leading the clinical spectrum of Population Health Management for Prime Group in the Arizona market and introducing the significance of the Value Based Care Program and its verticals with all the assigned providers of Kingman and Lake Havasu.
  • End to end process operationalization for ACO RAF and Preventive Care Quality improvement through liaising with providers for implementation of the population health strategies.
  • Marketing of ACO services including Care Management programs such as Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Transitional Care Management (TCM).
  •  Established collaborative goals and profit-oriented partnerships for 2022 by helping Providers and Practices in Population Health Strategy development 2022, aligned with the triple aim.
Served Pharmaceutical Sector Pakistan, in multiple roles: 
  • Conducted clinical programs, academic quiz shows, presentations, CME events for the prescribing physicians and the patients as third-party Physician with subject matter expertise in a particular therapeutic-area with GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan, tailored to meet the specific audience needs through peer-to-peer scientific exchange.
  • Extensive researching for developing educational resource material and reviewing scientific exchange material that aims to enhance the understanding of the physicians (about the latest research, inventions, and progress in a particular medical field) through scientific engagement with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL)’s and the Physician groups working in different specialties.
  • As a part of the company’s corporate social responsibility, Conducted TV program series as a ‘Physician Anchor’ for the general population’s awareness about mental health issues and infectious diseases and their prevention.
Director Media & Marketing and later Director Programs for Institute of Health Management (IHM) Dow University of Health Sciences IN  2007-2008
  •  This was a lead role requiring strategic vision and critical thinking skills, contributing to establishment of a Health Management Business College at Institute of Health Management (IHM), with a portfolio management team, under the banner of Dow University of Health Sciences.
  • This role required assisting the vice chancellor in developing budgets for the program, designing policies, procedures, development of curriculum and promotional material, finally hiring the core and visiting faculty for the official launching and operations management of the program.
  • In addition, post launch management of all the projects offered at Institute of Health Management, including student and faculty affairs, managing administrative staff, semesters’ daily proceedings, organizing events, conducting examinations, hiring other staff etc.
